HISTORY OF ESTABLISHMENT
Pertubuhan Kebajikan Anak-Anak Yatim Johor (PKAYJ) was built on a plot of land on Jalan Bukut Cagar in Johor Bahru that was 4 acres in size. The Johor Islamic Religious Council has given the building site to be used as a waqf.
This office building used to be a board building. Under the two columns, there is a vault where some of the staff lives.
At a cost of RM 2 million and using ready-made stone, the Rumah Barkat office was redesigned and built in 2012.
Donations from the public paid for the cost of building this house. The Johor Orphans' Welfare Organization is in charge of this house (PKAYJ).
The goal of starting this foundation was to protect orphans all over the state.
Next, the building of Rumah Barkat is one way to help orphaned children who are in school.
This is in line with the goal of the organisation, which is to protect orphans who have no place to live and help them do well in school and have good morals.
Each student who is helped by PKAYJ will get RM 45.00 in financial aid every month.
Students also get donations and learning facilities, like exam fees, textbooks, clothes, and other things they need for school, based on their needs.
Also, to make it easier to get aid money to orphans and poor school-aged children, we credit payments to their own accounts and the Muamalat account book.
Pertubuhan Kebajikan Anak-Anak Yatim Johor (PKAYJ) was founded on Sunday 1978 in the District Office Operations Room, Jalan Duke Johor Bahru, Johor Darul Takzim.
